Nakshara - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Nakshara mobile application (hereby referred to as "Application") developed by ByteBunkers. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience while using our Application.

- Bio Data: This includes your date of birth, time of birth, and location of birth required for accurate astrological and horoscope calculations.
- Photos: The Application may collect user-uploaded photos for profile personalization or related features within the app. The Application will always request your explicit, in-app permission before accessing your device's camera or photo gallery.
2. How We Store and Process Your Data
Your privacy and data security are our highest priority:
- Local Storage: All collected Bio Data and Photos are processed and stored locally on your device's internal database.
- No Remote Storage: We do not transmit, upload, or store your personal bio data or photos on our external servers. Your highly personal data remains entirely under your control on your device.
3. Third-Party Services
The Application utilizes specific third-party services to function correctly and to serve advertisements. These third-party services may collect information used to identify you in accordance with their respective privacy policies:
- Start.io: We use Start.io as a third-party ad network to serve advertisements within the Application. Start.io may collect non-personally identifiable information and advertising IDs to provide relevant ads. For more information, please review the Start.io Privacy Policy.
- Firebase: We use Firebase (by Google) for essential backend analytics, crash reporting, and application performance monitoring. For more information, please review the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Data Security
Because your personal data is stored locally on your device, the security of this data relies on the security of your device. We highly recommend using strong device locks (passcode, biometric) and keeping your device's operating system updated.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Because your personal bio data and photos are stored locally on your device, we do not retain this data on any servers. You maintain full control over your data:
- Data Deletion: You can delete all your personal data at any time by clearing the Application's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the Application.
- Third-Party Analytics: Any anonymized analytics data collected by Firebase is retained in accordance with Google's retention policies and can be managed via your Google account settings.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
